Due to the Covid-19 pandemic emergency that makes face-to-face activites difficult, the Italian National Agency agreed to have an extension of the BG2D project life. Now the end date of the project is September the 30th, 2021. Hoping to get to normal life soon, keep safe.
In the beautiful Evora, Portugal, on the 12th and 13th of November 2019 the third meeting of the European project “BG2D – Enhance life skills to bridge the grey digital divide” took place. It was an important and fruitful meeting because it came at the halfway point of the project’s life and therefore served to summarize what has been done in the first year and to plan the activities of the last 12 months during which the two main products of the project will be created, the Best Practices and the White Paper. Next meeting is the final one in Austria which will also be an international dissemination event. Stay in touch!
The second meeting of the project BG2D was hosted by BUPNET in Gottingen, Germany, on 4th and 5th of June 2019. Partners gather to discuss the progress of the project and to plan the future activitites. A few examples of best practices on how to enhance soft skills were shared. Next meeting will be held in Evora, Portugal next November. Saty tuned!

The kick-off meeting of the BG2D project “Enhance life skills to bridge the grey digital divide” on the strengthening of transversal skills to overcome the digital divide in the adult and elderly population was held at Università delle LiberEtà del FVG on the 11th and 12th of December 2018. The representatives of the partners involved in the projects from Austria, Germany, Portugal and Italy (in addition to the coordinator of the project Università delle LiberEtà, the Central Directorate of Work, Training, Education and Family of the Region FVG is a partner in the consortium), discussed the activities and phases of management of the project that will end in 2020. The next meeting will take place in Germany in June 2019. Stay in touch for the next news!
The BG2D project officially started on the 1st of October 2018. It will end on the 30th of September 2020, after 24 months of cooperation between the 5 European partners involved. You can check the Partner section of this website to get more details about the institutions.
